Morocco by Heart coordinates your entire journey. Moha provides personal support throughout your stay, while licensed drivers and local guides deliver the specialist services included in your itinerary.
More than sightseeing
You will not be rushed from monument to monument with a clipboard in front of you. Our journeys leave room for the parts guests remember years later: the first cup of mint tea poured too high, the smell of cumin and orange blossom in a Fes spice stall, a long lunch with an Amazigh family while the bread finishes baking.
We plan around light and rhythm — medinas early, mountains in the afternoon, the Sahara when the dunes turn copper and the sky goes quiet. Between those hours, you rest in a courtyard where the only sound is water.
Morocco is a country of cities, coastlines, mountains, farmland and desert, with cuisines and languages that change as you drive. Our work is to help you understand what you are seeing, and to make the days between feel effortless.

Meet Moha
Moha is the heart of Morocco by Heart. He combines local knowledge, genuine hospitality and personal attention to create journeys that feel safe, authentic and truly yours.
With Moha, you do not simply visit Morocco. You experience it by heart.
Born and raised in Morocco, Moha has spent years accompanying travelers between Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains, the desert and the coast. He speaks English, French, Arabic and Amazigh, and knows the riad owners, drivers and families along the way personally.
His role is to help you feel welcomed, comfortable and supported while you discover Morocco at your own pace.
Practical organization
Timings, transfers, riad check-ins and the small logistics of each day, arranged before you arrive.
Local support
Advice on the ground — where to eat, what to skip, how to handle souks, prices and etiquette.
Ongoing availability
Reachable by phone or WhatsApp throughout your stay, with quick changes if plans need to shift.
How Moha helps, in practice
Before you travel
Reviews your dates and pace, then adjusts the route so you are not spending your holiday in the car.
Before you travel
Books riads and desert camps he has visited himself, matched to how you like to sleep, eat and unwind.
During your journey
Meets you on arrival, hands over the day-by-day plan and introduces your driver in person.
During your journey
Reworks a day if weather, tiredness or a closed site changes it — a new lunch spot, an earlier start, a quieter medina walk.
Prefer writing? The inquiry form takes about two minutes and Moha replies personally.
Personal care. Professional organization.
Moha is your dedicated local host and point of contact throughout your stay. He welcomes you, helps with the practical details of your journey and makes sure you feel comfortable and supported.
Transportation is provided by licensed professional drivers. When specialist sightseeing services are required, we arrange licensed local guides with knowledge of the destination.
This combination gives you the warmth of personal care and the confidence of professionally arranged travel.

View JourneyWhere you stay
We only book properties we have stayed in or inspected ourselves. For each night we look at three things: the standard of the rooms and service, the exact location, and whether the place adds something to your day.
Photo: Morocco by Heart studio — Partner riad, Marrakech
Why it fits: A courtyard house behind a quiet door puts you inside the old city, minutes from the souks — but with silence, a plunge pool and staff who know your name by the second morning.
Photo: Morocco by Heart studio — Kasbah lodge, Draa Valley
Why it fits: Earth-built walls, mountain air and terraces made for long dinners. The right stop to slow down between Marrakech and the desert instead of driving through in one push.
Photo: Morocco by Heart studio — Desert camp, Merzouga
Why it fits: Real beds, private bathrooms and hot water in the middle of the Sahara — plus dinner under the stars with no other camp in sight. This is the night most guests remember longest.
Photo: Morocco by Heart studio — Coastal hotel, Essaouira
Why it fits: The soft ending to a busy route: sea air, a pool, and nothing on the schedule. Ideal for the last two nights before your flight home.
Prefer a specific hotel, a family suite or an all-villa trip? Tell us in your inquiry and we will match the standard you have in mind — or explain honestly when a place does not live up to its photographs.
Design My Private JourneyWhy Morocco by Heart
Six things that shape every journey we plan — and the reason our guests keep introducing us to their friends.
We live here. We know which medina lane is worth the detour at 8 a.m., which cook to sit with, and which road to avoid in August.
Your own vehicle and professional driver for the whole journey, so you move on your schedule rather than a group's.
Riads, boutique hotels, mountain lodges and desert camps we have slept in ourselves — chosen for comfort and character.
Licensed local guides who explain context, culture and everyday life clearly, and answer the questions you actually have.
Fewer cities, longer stays, real afternoons. We build in rest, not just sights, because Morocco rewards attention.
One person who knows your trip, reachable before departure and while you're here — by phone, email or WhatsApp.
Where you could go
Tap a destination to see what it feels like on the ground and how it usually connects to the rest of your route.
Central Morocco
Courtyard riads, gardens, souks and rooftop dinners — the heart of most journeys.
Often combined with Atlas Mountains and Essaouira.
Combine these into a private itineraryHow it works
Planning a first trip to Morocco should feel like a conversation, not a transaction.
Share your dates, who is traveling and what draws you to Morocco. A short form or a call — whichever you prefer.
We design a day-by-day journey with accommodation options, transport and clear pricing in US dollars, then refine it with you.
You are met at the airport, driven privately, guided by licensed local guides, and supported by Moha from arrival to departure.
Your flight from the USA
We do not sell air tickets — you book the flight that suits you. Check live fares on the three nonstop options American travelers use most, and we shape your journey around the arrival you choose.
Royal Air Maroc
From$611round-trip, taxes and fees included
Nonstop in about seven hours, also from Washington, Miami and Los Angeles — the gateway for Fes, Rabat, Tangier and the grand loop.
United Airlines
From$976round-trip, taxes and fees included
The only nonstop from the New York area into the Red City — ideal when Marrakech, the Atlas and the Sahara lead your route.
Delta Air Lines
Check datesnonstop three times a week, seasonal service
The Southeast's own doorway into Morocco — Atlanta connects almost everything, so one hop takes you from home to the Red City.
We do not sell or book air tickets. Every fare here is a live search you buy directly from the airline. Our care begins the moment you land in Morocco — Moha meets you at arrivals and stays with you until your last goodbye.
See all routes, gateways and sample faresPeace of mind
Most of the worry about a first trip to Morocco comes from small unknowns: who meets you at 2 a.m. in Casablanca, how you get from Fes to the desert, whether anyone will answer if a plan changes. We remove those unknowns one by one, and we tell you honestly what we can and cannot control.
We also encourage every guest to read the current U.S. Department of State travel information for Morocco and to carry comprehensive travel insurance.

The people behind the journeys
Morocco by Heart is a small Moroccan team: founders and travel designers who plan your days, licensed guides in each city, drivers who have covered these roads for years, riad hosts who remember how you take your coffee, and cooks, artisans and mountain families who welcome our guests as their own.
These are long relationships, not a supplier list. It is the reason we can open doors that are not on any map — and the reason we take responsibility for how our guests are hosted.
Responsible travel
We work directly with local guides, family-run riads, artisan workshops and women's cooperatives, and we pay them fairly and on time. We plan group sizes and visits so that the places we love stay livable for the people who live there.
Good questions

Tell us how you want to travel, what inspires you, and how you would like Morocco to feel. We will create a private journey designed around you.
