Morocco by Heart began with a simple frustration: guests were arriving in a country of extraordinary depth and leaving with a checklist.

We are a Morocco-based destination management company and boutique agency. We design private and small-group journeys across the whole country — the imperial cities, the Rif and the Atlas, the Atlantic coast, the southern valleys and the Sahara — for travelers who would rather understand a place than photograph it quickly.

Being local is not a marketing line. It means we can call a riad owner at 10 p.m., reroute a mountain drive because of weather, and choose the guide who suits your temperament rather than whoever is available. It also means the money you spend stays largely with Moroccan families, guides, drivers and craftspeople.

And because most of our guests travel from the United States, we plan around long flights, jet lag, dietary needs, US dollar budgets and the very reasonable desire to know exactly who is meeting you at the airport.
